A: A payment can be made online by clicking on the make payment button on the website menu and inputting the requested information in the form, or by going to https://rmwbh.com/payments/. If you do not wish to make a payment online, payment can also be made by personal check, cashier’s check or money order in the amount of listed in the account, or agreed upon payment plan, made payable to the association listed in your letter. Please mail your payment to RMWBH, 2800 Post Oak Blvd, Suite 5777, Houston, Texas 77056.

You can dispute all or part of the debt by calling RMWBH at 713-780-1666, completing the form included in the notice letter, or using the form on our website at https://rmwbh.com/debtdispute/.

Q: Why did I Receive a Notice of Unpaid Assessments

A: An account holder receives notice of unpaid assessments from RMWBH after the association, in which the account holder has unpaid assessments, turns over the account for collection. The notice from RMWBH comes after attempts are made by the association to receive assessment payment based on the terms outlined by the association’s governing documents and, if applicable, collections policy.  

Q: What is an Assessment?

A: An assessment is a fee that is paid by every homeowner in an association that is used to fund various community amenities, maintenance and restoration projects. The assessment is a contract between each homeowner and their association for equal contributions to maintain the community and ensure property values are maintained and continue to grow. The terms of the assessment can be found in the community’s governing documents.  

How Can I Resolve my Balance?

A: An account owner can resolve their balance by making a payment online for the full balance of the account at https://rmwbh.com/payments/ or by mailing a check or money order to RMWBH, 2800 Post Oak Blvd, Suite 5777, Houston, Texas 77056.

Q: What is a 209 Letter?

A: The 209 Letter is the letter sent to account holders who live in single-family and townhome communities as governed by Chapter 209 of the Texas Property Code. The letter outlines the amount of assessments due, potential late fee due and when attorney’s fees will begin being incurred if payment is not received 45 days after the letter is sent.
