Pooja Patel is a Senior Counsel in RMWBH’s Community Association Law Section. Pooja advises property owners association clients, including single-family residential, condominiums, mixed-use and commercial associations, in a variety of litigation and corporate matters.

Pooja acts as a trusted counsel to her POA clients providing guidance and legal advice to the POA’s board members and managing agents on matters involving property management, assessment delinquency, deed restriction enforcement and other issues as they arise. In addition, Pooja also assists clients by advising on governing documents, ensuring compliance with local regulations and interpreting governing rules.

Prior to joining RMWBH, Pooja practiced family law and draws on her experiences in the court room of managing stressful and sensitive matters to treat each delinquent assessment and deed restriction violation matter with empathy and understanding.

Pooja is tireless in her pursuit of growing her knowledge in the law to better problem solve on behalf of clients and obtain resolutions in property owners association disputes.

Pooja is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with bachelor’s degrees in political science and anthropology. She received her law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law.
