Julia Tillman is an Associate Attorney in the Corporate Section of RMWBH. She represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general business transactions.

Julia advises on both buy-side and sell-side deals, working with clients across a variety of industries including banking, energy, real estate, manufacturing, professional services, and technology.  Julia also advises clients on drafting and negotiating asset and stock purchase agreements, commercial contracts, and other core business agreements. In addition, Julia counsels clients on entity formation and corporate structuring, with an emphasis on helping clients anticipate potential issues and achieve practical business solutions.

Julia’s transactional experience includes assisting clients in M&A transactions ranging from $5 million to nearly $300 million, corporate restructurings and recapitalization matters valued at up to $5 million, etc.

Prior to joining RMWBH, Julia practiced at a national law firm where she assisted clients across a wide range of industries in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate governance.  This experience gave Julia a strong foundation in managing all stages of a deal — from due diligence to drafting agreements to closing mechanics.

Julia strives to make the legal and transactional process as clear and efficient as possible for clients. She knows transactions can be overwhelming, so it is important to her to focus on communicating in plain language, anticipating issues before they arise, and being responsive. She wants her clients to feel confident that their legal matters are being handled thoroughly while also keeping their larger business objectives front and center.

Julia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University, studying communication and business, and her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
