Jeffrey Hardaway brings almost 20 years of experience in real estate law to his role as Senior Counsel at RMWBH, where he serves in both the Community Association Law section and Litigation section.

Jeff works with single-family, townhome, and condominium associations, providing legal services for corporate matters, the collection of delinquent assessments, and deed violations.

What sets Jeff apart from other attorneys is his unique perspective of having served on his own association’s board for over ten years, giving him firsthand understanding of the challenges board members face.

His background spans title matters, deceased debtor cases, and foreclosures. Prior to his tenure in POA matters, Jeff worked as a litigation attorney for representing mortgage companies in Houston.

Jeff’s path to law wasn’t traditional, and that’s part of what makes him relatable. He spent almost 10 years in public education as a teacher and representative before transitioning to the legal profession. That teaching background still shapes how he works today. Jeff genuinely enjoys mentoring and assisting younger attorneys, sharing the knowledge he’s gained over two decades.

His time in education taught him patience, clear communication, and the importance of helping others understand complex topics. These skills translate directly to how he works with clients, breaking down legal issues in ways that make sense. Never one to shy away from his teaching background, Jeff has shared his expertise at CAI legal seminars and through client education across Houston.

Jeff is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Geography . He received his law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
