Christy Applegate serves as Senior Counsel in RMWBH’s Community Association Law section, where she partners with property owners associations across Texas to help communities thrive. She advises master-planned communities, single-family neighborhoods, condominium regimes, commercial projects, and mixed‑use developments on a wide range of legal matters, including the collection of delinquent assessments, deed restriction enforcement, amendments to governing documents, and vendor contract negotiation. Christy is also highly skilled in evaluating risk and helping boards navigate complex issues with clarity and confidence.

Beyond her work with community associations, Christy represents clients in commercial property tax matters, offering practical guidance and strategic solutions to protect their financial interests.

Known for her responsiveness, attention to detail, and steady counsel, Christy takes pride in providing timely, accurate advice tailored to each client’s unique needs. Christy is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, where she earned degrees in political science, finance, and general business. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
