Eric B. Tonsul is an Equity Shareholder in RMWBH’s Property Owner’s Association Section. Eric’s career has focused on representing property owner’s associations in corporate matters and as general counsel for the association. He routinely interacts with Board members and community management companies by providing legal opinions relating to corporate governance, interpretation of dedicatory instruments and issues relating to collections, deed restriction enforcement and contract drafting and review. Eric also provides guidance as to the interpretation of an association’s governing documents and the applicability of the law in relation to the governing documents. In addition to his day-to-day role as an attorney, Eric leads many of our educational webinars for the property owner’s association community and provides monthly education to management companies.

A career RMWBH employee, Eric began his time at the firm during law school as a law clerk and has grown as an attorney to become a vital part of the Property Owner’s Association team. Eric graduated from Texas A&M with a BBA in Business Management and received his law degree from the South Texas College of Law. He is Board Certified in Property Owner’s Association Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
