Lisa Gambrell

Lisa Gambrell is a Shareholder practicing in the Real Estate and POA sections of RMWBH. She represents developers, builders and POAs during the initial development stages of a community, during turnover to the members, and beyond. Lisa’s clients range from very large mixed use and master planned developments with 11,000+ lots to much smaller, more intimate communities. Lisa routinely works with clients on preparing the initial governing documents for a development, the creation of associations, and the myriad of issues that arise during the development of a community and the operation of the association. And because many of her clients include unique features such as agri-hoods, restored ecosystems, and coexistence with wildlife and natural habitats, Lisa aids developers and associations in the management of associated risks as well.

Lisa began her career at RMWBH in college, and after graduating from law school, began practicing at RMWBH. In the words of Lisa, she “literally grew up working at a law firm and cannot imagine any other career path.” She is passionate about working with her clients to create a vision for their communities. She enjoys and appreciates their master plans which often incorporate unique features of the area. She is inspired by the creativity and forward thinking of these visionaries. She is also passionate about her work environment, citing the team’s collaborative efforts as a standout.

Lisa graduated from Texas A&M in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology, magna cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctor in 1997 from University of Houston Law Center and is a Fellow of HYLA
